for your headphones. If you use your headphones at your
computer or with an iPod/MP3 player you might find the 9ft cord to be a bit long and cumbersome.
The 40 inch cord (slightly longer than 3 feet) is less likely to snag or get tangled when moving around.

cord and the 40 inch cord are made from the same premium, heavy duty material and only differ in length.

The EX-25 headphones are slightly smaller than the EX-29 Extreme Isolation Headphones and do not block quite as much noise. But if you are on a budget, these headphones surpass any other headphone in it's class that we have ever reviewed in both sound quality and noise reduction. Also, if you need to save a little space in your carry-on luggage, these EX-25 headphones are a bit smaller than their big brother, the EX-29 headphones. The EX-25 headphones are 2 ounces lighter and the ear cups are more thin.
